2022- 2026 Accomplishments

Assisted the Audubon Society in securing funding for cameras and fencing to protect snowy plovers during nesting season.
Collaborated with Ventura County Supervisor Vianey Lopez on graffiti abatement for Port Hueneme.
Organized Port Hueneme Volunteers for Earth Day Graffiti Abatement.
Coordinated Earth Day Clean-Up for Bolker Park.
Partnered with Southern California Association of Governments “Go Human” to bring traffic safety demonstration models to the Port Hueneme Wellness Fair (2023).
Served as Co-Captain for the Annual Coastal Clean-Up for the City of Port Hueneme (2019-Current).
Participated in the Washington, DC Regional Defense Program Lobbying Team to advocate for NBVC.
Participated in Sacramento Lobbying Team to advocate for affordable housing,

and transportation improvements.

Led collaborative effort with Port of Hueneme, NBVC, RDP-21 BEACON and County of Ventura to address sand erosion resulting in annual sand summits
Received SCAG Presidential appointment to Regional Council for District 45 (Oxnard/Port Hueneme)
Received SCAG Presidential appointment to to special Infrastructure Committee
Voted in as Vice President for League of California Cities Coast Cities
Led a multi-agency collaborative to create the City's first public mural for Ray D. Prueter Library.

COASTAL PROTECTION ACIVITIES

Participated in Regional Collaboration to address Sea Level Rise and Coastal Erosion to protect our beach.
Worked with Audubon Society, Surfrider Foundation and Coastal Keeps to protect natural beach habitats and keep our oceans clean.
Serve as Co-Captain of Annual California Coastal Clean Up since 2016
Organized local volunteers for graffiti abatement.

Worked with County of Ventura to conduct graffiti
in City of Port Hueneme
